Classes and Class Levels

Each adventurer has their own class, whether it is Warrior, Mage, Archer, etc. These classes serve as your general guide as to how you will conduct battle within the dungeon! As you progress in rank (which will be explained later) you can specify and customize your class! This can be done at rank 10! Classes can also increase in level once you reach a certain rank. However, the process will start right back over and you’ll be at Rank 0 just like when you first started (except you get to keep your stats and access to better gear and stronger skills ).

Classes

There are four main classes: Warrior, Mage, Ranger, and Martial Artist. Each class has their own perks and disadvantages that will be logically taken advantage of by the other classes. For example, if a warrior and a ranger are fighting, the warrior would definitely be at more of an advantage once he is in close, but the ranger would be at an advantage at a distance! Below we will go into each of the different classes.

    • Warrior - This class specializes in up close combat weaponry. They generally use swords, spears, axes, or shields, or some combination of the above mentioned weapons. They typically are more favored when it comes to strength and durability, but their agility isn’t as impressive as a few of the other classes.
    • Ranger - This class specializes in using long distance weapons or unorthodox weapons such as bows and arrows, crossbows, daggers, knives, etc.. They are typically more agile and nimble than the other classes. However, they aren’t as durable as a few of the other classes.
    • Mage - This class specializes in speaking with and manipulating the essence of nature of the world. These adventurers typically conduct combat from a distance like the Ranger class. They conjure spells that can either aid themselves or their party, or make use of the elements to harm their enemies. They typically don’t have the physical prowess of other classes so they are neither as durable, physically strong, or agile as the others. However, their insight to nature allows them to cast spells that can effortlessly make up for their physical limitations.
    • Martial Artist - This class specializes in hand-to-hand combat. They very seldom use any form of weapon other than their own bodies. However, this has caused them to balance out their training, making them the most balanced when it comes to physical strength, durability, agility, and dexterity. This class is also known for its ability to use miniscule magics due to their intense training of mind and body.

Class Levels

When your character gets approved, you will then become a Level 1 (insert your class here). Once you reach the certain amount of ranks, you will receive a level up. Upon the level up, five of your stats will receive a full letter increase from wherever it is at the time of the rank up.Once your reach Class lv. 2, you will also receive your first specialized skill and Developmental Ability that you get to create! You will also receive new skill slots randomly through your rank ups from this point on!

Ranks

  • Each adventurer makes progress through this world through rank ups. Rank ups are a very simple process! Once you have performed a few dungeon “raids,” you may visit the god or goddess of your familia to receive a rank up! The more accomplishments you have for each rank up, the greater rank jump or stat boost This is all decided by the god/goddess and staff.
  • When you begin your adventure (when your character is approved) your rank starts at 0. As you adventure, explore the dungeon, and battle different monsters your rank can rise up to 25. Once you reach rank 25 you can increase your class level!
  • Once you reach rank 10 the first time, you can customize your combat specialty in your class.
  • As you receive a rank up, you may receive a certain number of boosts. Boosts should be placed next to the stat you would like to improve so that the staff know what to update in your character profile.

Specialties and Craftsmanship

In this world, you have two types of specialties: Combat Specialty and Crafts. Fairly straightforward. However, the Craftsman specialty you can have as soon as your character is approved. Your combat specialty can not be registered until you achieve Rank 10.
  • Combat Specialties

This specialty pertains purely to your fighting style. It must deal with your overall class and approved by the staff. Some examples are being purely a Swordsman Warrior where you only use swords and occasionally a shield. Even a Magical Physician where you specialize in healing type magic!

  • Craftsman

This specialty can pertain to anything not dealing with combat (fishing, cooking, smithing, etc.) These specialties can act as hobbies or as a way for extra income for your character.
    • Non-Combat specialties will be graded seperately from the class ranging from I to S. All specialties will begin at an I ranking. The more you practice your craft, the higher the grade will become. As the staff sees your activity with your craft, you will be surprised with random upgrades, or you may petition for an upgrade.
    • When petitioning for an upgrade, you must provide proof of activity in your craft.
    • At a grade of B, each craftsman really becomes able to do remarkable things. Smiths can create magic weapons and armor, fishermen catch record breaking fish, etc.

  • Both Combat Specialties and Craftsmanship specialties can be augmented by Developmental abilities.
